I am a senior at Adrian College (double-majoring in psychology and English Writing with a minor in journalism) and a McNair Scholar at Siena Heights University. As a member of various Adrian College honor societies and service organizations — including Alpha Chi, Chi Alpha Epsilon, Delta Nu Kappa, Delta Alpha Pi, Mortar Board, Phi Eta Sigma, Psi Chi (of which I am the secretary), Sigma Tau Delta (of which I am the treasurer), TRIO Excel, and the Adrian College Honors Program — I remain ever-focused on overcoming life's obstacles and achieving success. Outside of my Adrian College classes, I work at The College World (as the Assistant Managing Editor), for The Daily Telegram (as a freelance journalist), in the Adrian College Marketing Department (as a Student Communications Assistant), for Academic Services (as a Cognitive Psychology Tutor), for TRIO Excel (as a Peer Mentor), and for the Ronald E. McNair Postbaccalaureate Achievement Program (as a McNair Ambassador). What little free time I have is typically spent going to the movies and watching game shows with my family.
